Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Barbistry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. The Platform

Barbistry is a barber quality network connecting customers, barbers, shops, vendors, and educators. We provide discovery, certification, content, promotion, and commerce tools. We are a platform and are not a party to any service agreement between members and their clients.

3. Accounts & Roles

You must provide accurate information and select an appropriate role (client, barber, shop, vendor, or educator). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

4. Memberships & Billing

Paid memberships renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout. See the Membership Terms and Refund Policy for details on billing, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellation.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. Prohibited conduct includes fraud, harassment, false certification claims, spam, and posting stolen media. We may remove content and suspend accounts for violations.

6. Certification

The Barbistry Quality Certified marker is granted at our discretion based on profile completeness, standing, and review. Certification may be revoked for policy violations and does not constitute a professional license or guarantee.

7. Moderation & Termination

We may warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently ban accounts, remove featured status, and withhold payouts where permitted, following our enforcement framework. No refund is owed on termination for policy violations.

8. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barbistry is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

This document is provided for platform transparency and is not legal advice. Terms subject to legal review in your jurisdiction.
